So, you picked up your new front quick hitch from John Deere, installed it and off you go. The quick hitch is very handy and works well. The lockout valve that came with the quick hitch speeds up the angle on your front implement so you can get a lot of work done.
All is well until you decide to mow or use the rear rockshaft. No problem, you hop off your tractor and open the lockout valve that came with the quick hitch and get back at it. Wait a minute! Now every time you raise or lower your deck or rear rockshaft, the quick hitch moves too.
You could disconnect the quick hitch hoses from the SCV to stop the movement but better, you can purchase and install the AuxHyd quick hitch lockout valve.
